Ive been searching for this and have found nothing on it. Does anyone know what it is? It come up in conjunction with a P0122. Could they be related?

 

What car do you have?

On a WRX 1442 isn't a valid code (looking at a 2002 model)
P0122 is a TPS code

 

2000 2.5 RS, I think that maybe he read the wrong code from the scanner. I might go get the code pulled again.

 

So what exactly do they mean? And is there somewhere I can go to find out what to do to fix the problem?

 

P1442: Fuel Level Sender/Sub Sender problem, you may have to replace those parts
P0122: Throttle Position Sensor circuit low input, maybe a bad sensor or the connector and associated wiring that goes to the sensor or wiring to the computer.
Probably should take it to a shop......

 

I was afraid of that. I was really hoping it was somrthing I could do myself, but I guess not.

 

Could this be because I dont think I have had more then 5 gallons of gas in the car for at least a month?

 

I don't think it would since the code for the fuel sender is related to the circuit that the sender is a part of

 

I will find out what this is when I have some time in 2 weeks. It doesn't seem to affect driveability, besides I wont be driving it much anyhow.
