Burning Smell After Oil Change?
Why does my car smell like burning after every oil change? '03 wrx with 96k. It goes away after a few days, but it smells bad.

The most common cause would be oil on the exhaust manifold near the oil filter when the filter is removed. Other than that, I can't think of any explanation of why your car would have a burning odor. I don't have any burning smell like that after an oil change, but I'm pretty careful not to spill any except into the drain pan or on the floor.
