diablo subaru can be friendly and can help you, i've had both experiences having bought a couple cars from them and had much interaction. It's ok to buy from them, but their service is horrible horrible shady people who will **** your car up, i can speak from experience. There is just like white trash stupid people working in their service, xept for the 1 half black guy who is smug mark *****

I also got my 05 from Carlsen. Their service is great, and the sales guy actually had a pic of him tracking his STi.

Carlsen is good, Santa Cruz is hands down fricken' awesome. You should be fine at either. And like everyone says, avoid Stevens Creek like the plauge.

Do you guys know if there are any rebates for recent college grads? I went to the Stevens Creek dealership just to test drive but didn't get any prices because I wasn't ready to buy yet. I also saw special deals on carsdirect.com and they were selling the TR for 23,187+tax, but they don't mention any college rebates.

They don't let you test drive cars that just came off the truck, because they want to keep it fresh. I know for WRX's they have a designated car that they use for test drive. I bought my 2006 wrx wagon from them and such a great feeling driving a fresh car(12 miles) off the lot. Atlest you know that any defect is from factory. Just drive it at Stevens Creek and open it up. Not to sure if they have a designated STI they use for test drive.

I bought my 06 sti from ron price. It had 6 miles on it when I test drove it. then I took it home with me 2 hours later. I got it for 500 less then sticker. They where a little cheap on my trade in but that is what I expected for a car with the 6 spd popping out of gear and rearend whine.

I'm with ya here, I bought my scoobie at Carlson, and they rock every time I go there for service, the Stevens Creek dealer really sucks...I just had some services done before the 3-yr warranty runs out, and there was one problem they couldn't fix, the service guy told me it was normal for Subaru cars....wtf

BUT I test drove the 06 STI at Stevens Creek, got no chance at Carlson! =p

when the steering wheel is turned either left or right all the way, or just even normal street driving after turning left or right, it's tilted off about 5-10 degrees off centered, it takes quite a while to be centered again...is this normal to any of you guys? I don't think so, cuz it wasn't like this before, just happened recently! sigh!! :-(
