Anybody buy one in the Atlanta Area?
Hey Everyone,
Longtime listener, firstime caller.
My feeble attempt at humor.
Seriously, I'm STi shopping in the Atlanta Metro area. Anyone have any experience with dealing with dealers in the area? My first stop was at Ed Voyles Subaru as it was the closest. I wasn't impressed at all as I knew more than the salesman and he was pulling the usual, "go talk to the big guy" routine every 5 mins. In addition, while we were figuring the numbers, he kept taking calls from other people and then at one point, excused himself for half an hour to go do God knows what at the sister Honda dealership next door. The guy had no concept of time and I felt he wasted quite a bit of mine. I've left quite a bit of other stuff out as it really doesn't need to be said, but I wasn't happy with them. Needless to say, I won't be back there.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else had any experience in the Atlanta area. I've got my financing already lined up (4.29%) up to any amount I want to spend. I've got the blank check already from the bank so all I've got to do is get them to the price I want and then write the check and leave.
Another thing I wanted to ask was how realistic is it for me to expect to get the car for $500 over invoice. I saw someone else said they got it for $250 over invoice but that sounds AWFUL low to me. I'm kind of of the opinion that if I have the check in my hand when I go in, I will have a lot better luck getting them to do the deal.
Thoughts?

Ok...here's the deal I got from an Atlanta dealer. Tell me if I did good or not.
The deal is for an 04 STi with the mirror, armrest, boot guage, alarm and wheel locks.
$30500 INCLUDING delivery
$143.35 Doc Fee
$396.65 Dealer Prep Fee (Refunded in my trade in. I DON'T pay dealer prep fees. Never have...never will)
$3.00 GA State Warranty Rights fee.
Just kind of curious as to the deal I got. I'm probably going to go down tomorrow and pick it up.
Regards,
Jeremy
