AC noise
Do you guys and gals have that little high pitched noise when you turn on the AC. I have 2 other friends with a 2002 WRX and they say they have it too. Is this normal? Mine also happens when i just turn on the fan. It doesnt really have a pattern weather Im going fast or slow or shifting or not. Its just makes this little high pithed noise. Anyone else have thi. yup, i have an 04 WRX. I thought my AC was too loud too. so i took it in to the dealer and the tech agreed with me. they have ordered the parts and i have an appointment this thursday to get the compressor changed for free under warranty. i advise you guys to atleast get it checked out.

Yea. never hurts to get things checked out. Thats great that they are going to replace it for you. Going to have to tell my friend to go get his checked now. He has had that problem for little while but dont think it is as bad as yours sounds. but hey. might get a new one too.

i see that there are others with the same dilemma... mine does squeek, but only when i turn it on(a/c or no a/c) but so far everything is fine. i might just get it changed before my warranty goes out... does anyone also notice that the rad fan comes on as soon as the a/c is on?? or ist it just mine?
