99 and below Vs 00 and up WRX

Im somewhat of a newb when it comes too subaru knowledge, but i think ive decided on an 02 WRX but im also semi-interested in the 99 and below models (ive heard that the wrx didnt come out in america until 2002) Anyway, if this is the case, Im not really interested in putting a turbo in a car that wasnt designed to have one in the first place (anything other than the wrx or sti) So I guess im looking for un-biased opinions in the two model years, but my key concern is...which one can i have more fun in??

If your looking for smoething you can have fun in go for an older RS.

In my opinion, you can fun with both a WRX and 2001 and older Impreza. Me, personally I'd go for the older 2.5 RS Impreza. I find it looks better and swap for a WRX engine and tranny

. THat's what I'm planning on doing.
