when i find out some concrete info released to its staff by FHI i will post it... until then everything is all speculation/photochops.
on a more solid note. the total redesign will be in 2007- which means that it will most likely hit american soil in the late summer of 2006

keep in mind that the new look will happen. maybe not so agressive as the r&d renditions... but very close. by then the industry will be headed in that direction in terms of grille design...

I think the 2006 STi should be out sometime in July actually, maybe i'm mistaken but I talked to a friend of my parents who is high up in subaru and he said the next STi will be out in early summer most likely.
