2004: 2.5TS or 2.5RS?

What's the differences between these two trim levels?

I have the option to purchase a new 2.5TS or a not-so-lightly used (still '04) 2.5RS for the same price.

The only thing I know is that RS includes a spoiler and TS doesn't.

Please input.... thanks!

Not necessarily.

TS comes as a sedan as well.

from edmunds.com

The Impreza is available in five trim levels: the 2.5 TS wagon, the Outback Sport wagon, the 2.5 RS sedan and the WRX sedan and wagon.

Ah I see.

So, getting back to the discussion then - what're the differences between the two trims? A $4000 surcharge is a lot for just a spoiler, no?

Wow! Check out those prices. You could get an STI for that amount of dough.

i have a sedan and a wagon-
thats the only difference between the 2. other than looks.
the wagon is heavier(in terms of wrx its a matter of 80 lbs.)
cargo space is superior in the wagon. handling on the sedan will be slightly tighter, but not that much. the wagon can tend to be more fun as the rear tends to "slide" out more often. but with the right suspension upgrades can keep up with the most of em.

its really a matter of what u want in terms of looks and in terms of practicality.

hope that helps.
