1993-94 Subaru Legacy Wagon
Hey, long time member, so long that I forgot my old user name so I had to sign up again
Anyways, was looking at getting an older 93'-94' Legacy wagon, the sport or touring edition. Was wondering what you guys can tell me about them, good or bad. Reliability, issues, motor problems, anything you can tell me. I'd also only get a 5 speed.
Any info would be much appreciated.

'93-'94 Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon
I bought mine NEW in '93. The odometer just turned 116,000 and is still running great. About 2 1/2 years ago I had to replace the A/C unit and although the radio is fine, the cassette quit on me about a year ago. I've done all the services on schedule, I change the oil at close to 2500 miles every time. I new Subaru's were good because of the satisfaction of my friends, but my '93 Turbo Legacy has turned out to be a much better vehicle than I could have hoped for. If you're still in the market and happen to stumble onto one, have it checked out by a reputable mechanic to confirm or dispell any concerns. I hope you're as happy with yours as I have been with mine. Good luck.
