05' STi upkeep

I called the dealer today to get an oil filter, $8 or something no big deal. So while I have the parts guy on the phone I ask him to give me a price on a full set of brake pads, just because im curious. $252 for the rears and a slim $329 for the fronts.............. ridiculous........... What is a fella to do when it comes time to change them? I just became a heavy downshifter

Well I guess that is the end of my rant.

Not to worry, there are better pads that cost less available.
