'04 WRX Options
Hey I'm in the process of obtaining a '04 WRX Black on Black and I was just wondering if anyone knows if leather seats are available? I checked the subaru website and I couldn't find anything about it.. is it even an available option?

You can not get leather on a WRX. I would have gotten if it were an option. I'm fairly certain that you can't get the moonroof without the premium package. I did get the premium package on mine and do not have a regret. I also live in Pennsylvania and will thank myself when the snow and cold weather arives.

Aww.. that's sad.. I really wanted to get leather
I really don't like the stock spoiler that comes with the premium package, that's why I'm against it. I wrote an e-mail to the dealership and hopefully they will let me get the moonroof without the other crap

Are leather seats not a dealer installed option anymore because I've seen 2002-2003 WRX with leather?

i got my reply back from the dealership! i must say everyone from the bay area in california, you MUST MUST goto santa cruz if u ever consider buying a wrx.. they seriously are the best!
they're offering me the black 04 wrx for 22,000, moon roof is 1000, and leather is 1050, and with a 6-year warranty!
i'm quite pleased with the price, sometime soon i will go pick it up and then i will no longer have to dream...

How are they offering leather? Are they putting it in aftermarket? I saw some websites and other posts that show leather replacement covers... but it looks like a lot of work to swap them. Sounds like you are getting a great deal mikeypwr... post some pics of your car when you get it. It sounds nice.

already got all the mods i want in mind.. but they'll probably change as better stuff comes out, either way.. i'm just soooo psyched

There're some places that'll redo your seats in leather upholstery. There's a 50 yr. old lady that lives near my school with a WRX, and she was complaining about how there was no dealer option for leather so her husband had it sent down somewhere in So Cali for a custom job.
And WTH??!! They have moonroofs on Impreza WRX's now?! Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of the car's structural rigidity?!

Personally I would look at the leather seats and moonroof cuz I've some cheap kits on the market.

Im glad i havent bought an 04 yet, i wanted leather but thought i couldnt get it. santa cruz isnt far either so i think im going down their to get leather and a good deal. thanks mikeypwr!
