'04 STi

Hi i am looking at buying an '04 STi. I love the car but are there any complaints about it?

ya like everyone else says when this same question pops up ever other week: "the only problem with the 04 STi is that there isn't one in my driveway."

or maybe it's "the only problem with the 04 STi is that i can't afford one right now." it's one of those two i'm sure....

Car Info: Mazda Protege '02 (Wishing protege has AWD and a H6 twin turbo)

I've heard of only 2 problems so far since i work with a STI owner.

First is on California fuel 91 octane there was apparent engine knock problems (factory reflash easily fixed)

Second was with exhaust systes boost creep became an issue. Turbo wastegate was ported to solve problem

Whats boost creep? well look in the EJ25T forum and on the top is a lovely sticky post on just that.
