Actually there not contradictory for the record....that's your "opinion" of race lands so it's not a fact. I know there are many of us here who are running them and would agree there good coils....maybe not the best. But I guess trolls gotta be trolls

Have you personally used race lands? Probably not...I think your just trying to justify yourself spending 1000+ On coils when that's not necessary when money that can be spent elsewhere on the car. I don't autoX my car and it's a daily driver so spending 1000+ on coils is in my opinion kinda stupid. But to each his own

Anyone who knows anything at all about suspension design can tell you that Racelands suck. They sell for less than what a reputable coilover costs to make. I'm not sure how you can even argue that they are good.
As for trying to justify +$1000, even $1,000 coilovers are well established to be junk. A good starting point for a full coilover setup worth their weight in dirt is $1,500. Ideally you want to spend closer to $2k. This is why coilovers period are a bad investment on a car that's not tracked often at a competitive level. The reason these are bad is not just from a reliability standpoint either. 99% of WRX/STI drivers would not be able to outdrive a good strut and spring setup, which would ironically be able to run circles around mismatched Racelands or even some of the more expensive options like OTS BC BRs.
The point I was making in my earlier post is that one of the basic common sense tenets of modding a car is that if you're broke, you don't. You wait until you can afford to do it correctly. If you do it properly you're more likely to only have to do it once and you'll actually get results worth getting.
Trolls gotta troll though. That's rich. Learn how to tell the difference between a troll and someone trying to help you. I had a similar discussion with someone on ClubWRX. He ignored me and later ended up posting pictures an untracked coilover that broke right off at the mounting point after driving over a speed bump. Imagine that happening while going more than 3 mph. Have fun.

The way you say I contradict myself and shouldn't mod cars is not helping anyone. A good set of struts and springs a good idea. Had u just said that....would have been a lot more helpful. I don't have time to sit here and argue about the antics of modding cars. To each his own. Now excuse me while I go look for a good spring strut combo
