This was new when I installed it and only had it on the car for 12 months before my oil pickup broke and spun a rod bearing. Turbo has no shaft play, all turbine fins are straight, and no cracks in the turbine housing. It is internally gated with dual flapper gates. This spools instantly like a large displacement naturally aspirated car like a v8, virtually no lag because of the roller bearing, titanium exhaust wheel and titanium shaft. This makes an awesome stealth (heat shields have SUBARU embossed on them, and the turbo just looks stock because it is a oem, just jdm oem) daily driver setup or autoxcross setup.. Inspectors didn't even notice when I was sent to the ref. This turbo starts spooling as soon as you step on the throttle with strong mid range power and doesn't drop off like a vf39 does.

Plans have changed. Whole kit is now for sale which includes:
VF36, turbo bracket, jdm twinscroll header (made from stainless steel and lighter than stock), twinscroll uppipe, rare and hard to find vers 9 downpipe which fits with the usdm wrx or sti exhausts (does not require modification that the other versions require an adapter pipe be made to reach a usdm turbo back), cast iron bell mouth, gutted cat, and an extra bung welded for wide band sensor , and all necessary twin scroll gaskets. WRX will require sti oil pan which I have an extra used sti pan if needed for a wrx.
