Can't find VF Turbo

I always hear about how easy and cheap you can find used VF turbos, I must be incompetent because I struggle to find any. Tried ebay theres little to none, forums theres not many. Any one know some hidden place I can find an abundance of them to buy or what. Im struggling.

I would not trust eBay for a turbo, I have seen a couple pop up on here. Also what's cheap for you?

yea i figured ebay would be sketchy. Idk I was thinking like 400-500 bucks? if its much more expensive than that i might as well get a new turbo, not used. Still cant find any though its common for me to read on forums and what not that there so easy to find cause the STi guys get rid of them, I dont find them easy at all.

I think so many of the older ones cracked that the newer ones have all been bought up. A year and a half ago is when I replaced the one out of my '04 STi and I noticed back then they were just starting to be hard to find. Also I think fewer people are going with aftermarket units and staying with their oem turbo.
