Haha. What ever year STi people drive that's the year they love. All sti's are great. But the 07's have the hit or miss issue with the motors. My fav would be the 05 though..

Do a JDM STi swap! I love mine would be legit to get a v7 swap for you too..

Yeah I'd much rather just buy a Bugeye WRX and the get a V8 swap because in the end we'd spent as much on that as with a stock usdm sti, and then we'd have the body style we want with and better engine than a usdm sti and twin scroll

personally , if you can afford it.... 06 would be my vote. I like the hawk eyes, has the 2.5 with AVCS, and supposed stronger internals. also has a more refined DCCD over a 04. and doesn't have the syncro issues like the 04-05 6 speeds.
