Are the 2004 seats better than the 2003?

 

I just test drove a used 03 today and I loved the seats. I decided for the money I'm better off getting the 2004, but when I was looking through the brochoure I noticed the seats in the 2004 look different? Are they just as supportive?

 

just like surfertech said, the new ones have the integrated headrest so it looks more like a racing seat, the material is also different now, it is almost like a grid pattern effect, hard to explain, but quite comfortable. I have heard the 03's had more support but I'm not sure if this is true.

 

The 03's have more support, so they feel tighter on the sides. The seats, and overall apprearance of the 03 made me buy one.

Sit in an 03 and then in an 04 immediately after, you should feel a difference too.

I think the seats in the 04 WRX and the STi are exactly the same except for the color, material and the WRX have the heated seats option, but other then that, they look identical...... I think.
