WRX or RSX Type s
I am buying a new car this week but have not been able to decide between the wrx and the rsx type s. There are good things about both. Both are great cars and thats what makes this so tough!!!I like the AWD and great acceleration of the wrx but i liek the interior of the rsx. Also i have heard (although from rsx owners) that from a roll the rsx is actually faster. Can someone please give me so info that will help me make up my mind?!?!?!?!?!?!THANKS!

Hehe, I am willing to bet my pink slip that WRX will get more votes here. 
RSX S is a good car, but WRX is much greater performer. DC2 or a WRX would be a better balanced poll, but everyone knows that DC2 is much better DC5.
RSX is NA. RSX is FWD. RSX will need more $ to get same power as the turbo WRX. There are number of WRX' that are running low-mid 13s with just $1000-$1500 in mods.

bah! dont spread that. mbc;s might be cheap power, but it isnt safe power. partial throttle/full boost, boost spikes. besides, after the money spent for mbc, egt gauge, egt probe, you could have invested in an ubercool EBC. its like comparing the us to canada.

If you get an EBC, though, do some research. I've heard of some EBC's that had worse boost spikes thatn MBC's. If you want an MBC, go with this one: http://www.dawesdevices.com/boost.html . I've only heard good things about them, and you don't have to build it yourself. Oh, and go with the WRX over the RSX. Stock for stock, the RSX might be quicker from a roll, but the WRX will resond to mods much better than the RSX will, especially if you are going dollar for dollar.

WRX vs. RSX
Look at , i think, april's "sport compact car". They ran a side by side test of the WRX wagon vs. the RSX -S and they each had their individual strong points. You should read the article, it is great. THey actually make the RSX out to be better than the WRX (But I know they're wrong, hehehe). Good luck. My friend has an RSX and he is just as happy with it as I am with my Suby so either way you go you are gonna get a great car.

I had the same problem
Last May I went through the same dilema. Which to get? WRX or RSX type s. They both are great cars...no doubt about that. Personally, I think the acura looks better than the subaru. Secondly, we all know that acuras are good cars..probably better than subarus. Those two facts made it a really hard decision. Both cars are pretty much equal in performance..though the wrx is alittle bit faster and handles better. I personally like AWD and really needed a four door car so I picked the WRX. Now that I have it...i'm so glad I picked it. Eventhough the acura is more luxurous...I don't care about that...I wanted performance and handling. And the WRX sure enough has that. My suggestion...get the WRX. I have almost 10000 miles on it and have had nothing wrong with it. It still rides and looks like it's brand new. I still belive that the acura is more refined than the wrx...but the wrx handles alot better. Go for the wrx!
