WRX in 2fast2furious
Well I saw 2fast2furious friday. And it was an ok movie. Of course it had no real plot and no great acting but it had some nice cars... ie: Skyline, which I don't think they showd enough of. walker from a Skyline to an evo... Id be like F*that gimme the skyline back.. 
But the girl with the S2000 needs to go.. shes ugly and annoying...
Anyways back to what I was saying... DId anyone catch the wrx in the movie??? It was real fast and could only see the hood.. It was after Walker meets his friend and they go see Tej(Ludacris) at his garage. It shows the hood of an orange(+ other colors). The hood scoop gave it out.. you can tell that it is obviously a WRX... Anyways just wanted to know if anyone caught that as well?

skyline
from what i have heard, they took out the awd in the skyline. this was to get it to "look cooler as it went around turns", in other words have it fish tail and other stupid stuff. they took an awesome car and turned it into a not so awesome one. i read on another forum that it had around 560 hp and only did a 14.x 1/4 mile.

theres the link to the thread on another forum that talks about them taking out the awd and the 4wheel steering. my mistake, the skyline had 505 hp and did a 14.1 1/4. those are the numbers that were posted on supercars.net so don't argue, i'm just reporting them. they obviously beat the crap out of the skyline.

yeah, they really did bad things to the cars. I read the story in sport compact car. They tested the skyline, s2000, evo, supra & camaro. It was embarrassing, all the cars except the camaro could have been beaten by a stock wrx. :P
The fastest of the imports was the s2000, it ran a 13.8 if i remember correctly. The rest ran over 14secs. SCC mentioned that the supra had over 90K miles on it. As for the evo, i have no idea what they did to it...
The skyline did have the AWD removed, which is odd, i guees they really wanted a tail happy skyline. But, hmmm... wouldnt proper tuning w/a extremely set anti-roll bar do the job???
Oh well, its sad that anyone could modify such amazing cars & make them slower. But, isnt that what u would expect from an APC/rice crowd.
