I would even though I bought mine only a week ago. The car is addictive to drive.

I heard the downfall is the tranny.. some people claim there made of glass. But I've also read of people doing 20 or so 5krpm Clutch Dumps at a drapstrip and still come back ok.

lose some.. win some I guess.

Good question. Would have been nice if a poll had accompanied this thread.

I would still pick the WRX over any other car available when I made the purchase. With the turbo motor and AWD, it outperforms just about anything else in the price range, especially when the roads aren't track-like smooth or the weather turns bad. Lots of aftermarket parts and tuner services to choose from, although there is some stuff of questionable usefullness, too. EJ20 turbo motor is fairly easily modified for more power, while any normally aspirated motor would have a hard time ($$$) finding the same gains. Notice one of the first mods that Comptech developed for the S2000 - a 50-state legal supercharger!

I've had mine just over two years and I'd do it again in a heart beat.

I drove from tennessee to florida which is a slight constant drop in elevation and I got 30 mpg there and 26 back. As for the 350z I would never take one over a wrx. I did drive my friends and I absolutely loved it, but it doesn't have the split personality of the wrx: A 4 door family car with awd to get you places in any condition one minute and then a turbocharged street weapon the next. And for the record I've never lost a race to a 350z.
