Why do you like Subaru's?
 

So why do you all like Subaru's? I like them for reliabilty, versatilty.........I could go on. Post your thoughts.....

Reliability and AWD.

AWD, performance, and rally potential.

You can have a really nicely modified Subaru and still drive it in the winter just as fast as you drive it in the summer.. maybe even faster ;)
No other car can do that IMO.

They last forever
The longitudinal drivetrain is so easy to work on (I Had an '88 Celica Alltrac turbo with a transverse layout. What a nightmare!)
The car has that heavy equipment mentality so it's very easy to maintain and modify
Not everybody has one
Let me put it this way I haven't found a downside yet :) :) :)

Its the closest I can get to owning a Porsche!

My STi is the closest I can get to owning a R-34 Skyline GT-R.

I would like to echo Spd Frk and add my $.02

Not only can you use it summer or winter-
you can enjoy it alone or with friends-(try that with a 350Z)
and it's cheaper than most cars faster- and all more capable
(admittedly the neon SRT-4 is quicker anf a mustang GT could beat it at the money- but a GT has to be put away at blizzard time, ant the SRT-4 is a hard edged car with assumed low build quality)

Ability to smoke ricers everywhere, while the car is stock :)
And i agree with everythign everyone said above ^.

why we like it? hhmm.. know someone who drives one? ask him/her to let you drive it... or just let him/her drive it and just enjoy the ride... = )

Character. I once had a Volvo 544. It had character too.

i didn't want anything my mother would complain about so I got a nice small sedan with four doors that comfortably seats four passengers :D
