where to start????

hello I just bought a 04 wrx wagon (and love it) , but like everybody need a little more power(came from a cobra that I need to sell), but dont want to make the car un-driveable (baby on the way). I was thinking cobb stage II? is that a good place to start? also talked to the guys @ s-squared (really cool guy) and was thinking of going that route ? just want to know wher I should start ? also the car is so tight how can I keep it that way? IE strut braces swaybars and springs? dont really want to spend more than 2500.00 right now so help me with my build up thanks in advance mike....ps does anybody have the cobb stage II?

cobb stage 2 is a good place to start. i got the cobb 20mm rear sway bar and short throw shift kit for my first mod. unreal what a difference just the sway bar did for handling. coilovers are nice but pricey. the kyb agx struts with the sti pink springs is a nice set up, solid but still rides nice on the road. if i were in you shoes with 2500, id do cobb stage 2 and the suspension i mentioned above. splurge and get wheels and tires!
