anyone heard? I read the STi will be somthing like early summer, any chance the WRX will be available earlier?

 

The letter I got with my brochure last week from SOA said to expect the new models early April, and the STI sometime this summer. Not sure how old this info is though.

 

I have contacted some dealerships as I am planning on getting the '04 Impreza WRX as soon as it comes out. So far, the general consensus is that the new WRX will be available in March/April and the WRX STi will be available this summer.

 

I went by the dealership to finally test drive and the lady who helped me didn't know the WRX was getting the change, only the STi. I know that's not true, and it sounds like they aren't sure. I do have to say that if anyone is looking for a Subaru go to Palm Springs Subaru.. the nicest people this side of Palm Springs Infiniti. =) She wasn't pushy, let us go on the test drive, told us to get on it, and let us go without trying to run numbers. Very respectable service. Plus they had around 2 of each color(yah, all 5 of 'em.. lol)

 

Hrm, for the price savings I'm starting to think I should just stick with an 02 with bug eyes

 

At first I was thinking of just picking up a left over '03 WRX and save a good amount of money, but as the saying goes, "Change is good." =)

 

I'd really prefer a used one, but people as much as they are new.
dealer in MN is selling 03's at invoice and subaru has that 0% financing deal, I might try that
