Got my 2k4 WRX 30 mins ago!
Just got it home, 9 miles on it. I'm sticking to the break-in period like religion, and not modding it a bit for the first 1k miles. It's the first 2004 white non-STi Sedan I've ever seen in person, and I'm hella satisfied thus far.

50 miles on it now, been driving as much as possible all night. I'm trying to log the 1000 by the end of the week so I can road-trip it ***** out.
So far:
Pros:
Handling rocks ***
Seats are pretty sweet
Has cajones even under 4k rpm
Heat owns (if you're in MD right now, you know why this is important)
Cons:
Brakes need more oomph
I don't have one in every color

squash... mmm.... i just installed a B&M short shifter on my '04 and it's awesome. crisp and to the point. i love it. white's an awesome color, only it's hard to keep clean.. so i went with silver.
have fun with it. i know i am.

i think they seats suck, but its prolly my body size, im not that big, so im jumblin around when takin corners
if you get an up pipe and turbo back, you'll have much more low end oomph
as much to say that you would be stating "never mind, it didn't have oomph before 4k"
be sure to check out your regional forums and coem out to meets/drives

where in MD do you live? I live in the College Park area if you ever wanna meet up. I have a new White 04 WRX Wagon and Im loving it except the gass mileage (it is a sporty car), the seats (im a skinny guy), and the ABS callabrations suck. other than that I have no complains. Im one of the few White Wagon owners around here and Ive only seen 1 white sedan on the road in 2 years.
Have Fun and drive safe

I'm in Kensington, so it's just like a 10 min. drive to College Park. I'm not sure if there'll be much of a crowd at the B&N tonight, given the temperature outside, but if you want to go check it out, I'm probably down. I was going to PM you my cell #, but I didn't see a PM button on your post, any reason why?
Oh, and Fitzgerald Subaru in Rockville said that mine is the only white Non-STi 04 sedan they've ever sold to anyone.
