Car Info: Comeback?
I started upgrading the moment i got the car...i actually had stuff lined up before i even picked the car up...i am at 7k miles and so far upgraded suspension, sounds, gauges, and other lil things...i am trying to stay away from drivetrain upgrades cuz i would like to keep my warranty intact as long as i can...all in all, theres no such thing as too early, its a matter or preference...alottta guys will tell u to learn how to drive the car properly and well first...then mess around with upgrades later...make sure you do some research on pros and cons of each upgrade ur planning on doing, i.e. boost creep issues with DP, etc....good luck either way

I would wait a while longer. The main reason being that if you wait a while it gives the factory stuff a bit more time to fail. If it fails AFTER you mod, there could be some question as to whether or not the mods caused the problem of it was a manuf. problem and you could have warranty issues.

Yo, I just got an 05 sti too, I only have about 400 miles (break in period is a pain) during which freakin Scions are comin up on me and revin it, but I think you should really wait till about about 15,000 unless you are in a rush because let the car work out it's kinks, exspecailly since you have the warranty just use half of it cuz if you put too much on your car and something goes wrong underwarranty (not likely) you can easily take it back without having to do to much magic.
