What kinds of tools will you prepare in case of your Subaru Legacy broken?

What kinds of tools will you prepare in case of your Subaru Legacy broken?I have my Subaru Legacy for 2years.During these time,it worked very well. However I found the instrument light wasn’t normal.Somtimes it wasn’t display, and get normal for a while.I want to do some diagnosis for my Porsche. Now,my friends, are there any useful tools to promote?Someone said the Autel MaxiDAS® DS708 from xcardiag is very good, but I don’t know about it.If you heard about it,please let me know? Any information will be gratefully received.Thanks.

all you need is a simple obd scanner tool, and knowledge how the subaru system works =]

then you want your 8mm,10mm,12mm,14mm,17mm, and 19mm sockets and wrenches

screw drivers etc

15 and 13 helps with tie rod ends

32mm for the axle nut, a punch for certain things, pliers (needle nose, and regular)

bumper or trim clip remover

pry bar and rubber mallet, to remove ball joints or tie rod ends and (technique)

breaker bar

torque wrench

should be all the tools you would need to dissemble your car

I agree with the person above, good understanding of Subarus.

-ODB2 reader / reset
-basic metric tool set plus the cars tool kit (car jack mainly)
-*A pair or good mechanic gloves ( so you can touch warm parts )

In case the car is DEA, just one of these:
