what happened to email notifications

I used to get an email anytime somebody responded in a thread I participated in. Is it broken?

It was turned off recently, probably has something to do with the sticky announcement at the top of every forum about bad e-mail address.

I have no clue when, or if they will be turned on again.

its because all the bad emails would go back to alex's email address, so he'd have thousands of crap email every day

I'm using my default E-mail and having the same problem I send myself a PM and receive the confirmation.
