This is IF I get that car by the 30th... I HOPE I DO... but....

It would be under my dad's name (he's 55 I think) and it would add another $1100 a year. Insurance considers it a performance car... If would be a lot more he told me if it was just under my name.... $2000+ a year.

I'm 22, have no accidents or tickets..etc. My father has also had a completly clean slate.

Yeah, I agree its always best to spend a little more on full coverage. Im in the same boat as you mjones. I live in a city so my premium is about $700 more than it would be if I lived even 3 miles further than where I am. But the cars are worth it.

Collins, Mjones,

If you guys are in SoCal check out Wawanesa Insurance. I'm 38 with a clean driving record, my premium is $800 a year full coverage with a $50K/$100K coverage and a $300 deductible

Wow, 900 a month? What sorta driving record do you have and how old are you? Is PA different from most other states in regards to insurance?

I'm 42 and spending $110 a month. I need to get married or buy a second car. I though it would get cheaper as I got older but you have to pay if you want to play.

haha, that was what I was hoping you meant. Did your rate drop a lot when you hit 25? Ive heard it does, but im 23 and dont see how there is too much of a difference as ive been driving for 7 years now. Gotta love insurance.
