What do you think about used?
What do you think about a used 2002 when there are incentives for the new cars? Obviously the current incentives are over but if sales continue to be slow there should hopefully be more.
If a good deal could be had and you still had to finace a small portion of a used car what do you think about getting a used WRX? My credit union currently has 4.75% on used cars and we are only talking about financing 8k or so. Any concerns about getting such a high performance car that is not in warranty? I am hoping these cars will last thousands of miles... Do turbos fail often?
Thanks,
Kenny

There's really nothing wrong with buying used, provided you get the car checked out by a reputable mechanic. I would do this even if I was buying the car from a dealer.
The things you need to consider should be, 1) What do you want option wise? and what can you live without, 2) How many miles are on the car, is it still under warranty? 3) Are you going to buy an "aftermarket" warranty, what will it cost?, 4) Are you planing on doing mods? Major? Minor?, 5) Do you like the "bug-eye" look better then the new model look? And finaly the main factor,
6) How much can you afford to spend?
