I have absolutely no regrets either. I'm even having trouble being seriously tempted by the STI which, at this point, would probably cost me a $15K differential.

which cupholder?

Which cupholder do you use anyway? My cars have always had them next to each other but the Impreza appears to have one on the dash and a cupholder/changeholder thing in the center console. It looks awkward to have one in front of the stereo and mounted so high up but the one in the center console looks so small.

Windshield visors which are not long enough (or the right shape) to cover the area around the interior rear-view mirror or to block out light from the side windows when swung to the side. I know about that little flip-down job mounted above the rear-view - it's pitiful.

(mentioned in another thread) Fuel gauge does not read linearly.

Window and door lock switches are not lit with headlamps on.

Rear seat does not fold down, limiting extra carrying capacity to skinny things which will fit the seat pass-through.

Clock should have been built into the radio display. Installation of a gauge pack on the dash removes the factory clock.

Fog lamp and cruise control switches should be located in a more convenient location to allow safer activation while driving - headlight stalk for the former and the steering wheel pad for the latter. Same goes for the lit indicators for these two features - both should be displayed along the row in the dash with the other idiot lights.
