If you were able to talk to the engineers at Subaru, what would you have have changed about the car? I don't want to hear stuff like 'more power' etc. I want to know stuff like 'it is too noisy', 'the mirrors are too small', 'the rear diff has problems', 'there is a blind spot', 'the seats are too soft', 'rear seat room is poor', , 'tranny is hard to shift', etc. I've worked on a lot of Subarus and didn't have any problems servicing them. But I was wondering what people's complaints were on the car.

 

I was surprised that cars at this price still have pull out antennas. I've noticed that the new imprezas no longer have it.

 

Yea pullout antenna reminds me of my civic. Oh and gee I love our tranny.

 

Paint chips/scratches easily
Body panels dent easily
16" wheels are too small
Stock ride height is like a 4x4
Bugeye headlights
Blue/black interior on all exterior colors
Dealer service sucks

All this, but still a bargain.

i hafta say...i dont know how bad i want the wrx after hearing all these complaints

 

Yeah, it's just way better than anything esle in its price range. I have no serious complaints. My clutch is fine. Yeah, I'd like a built-in antenna, leather seats, sunroof, 6 speed transmission, MP3 player, sleeker cosmetics, but I don't want to pay more!
