used wrx price?
okay, i just got back from first trip to subaru dealership to check out WRXs, and overall i was really impressed...didn't get to test drive, but i'm coming back next monday, so something to look forward to....my question is, how much do you guys think is a reasonable price for a used '02 sedan with pretty much all the options on it, and less than 30,000 miles. the one i saw had 19,000 miles, and pretty much all the optional stuff, except no spolier
. They said retail was about 21,000, and set a sort of starting point for bargaining at about 20,700. So how much did you guys used WRXs for, and with how many miles? Thanks

I don't know where you are, but there is a used 2002 Silver w/ spoiler at my local dealership.. (fort wayne, indiana)
It has just over 20K miles, and they are asking 20K... I know the guys there, and can prolly get them down a bit... especially since i should be bringing my father in next week to order a New Forester XT.

i live in austin, tx, so there are at least a decently good amount of subarus flowing around here for sale, even used...i dunno, i guess i'm just a little stingy, but i was sorta hoping to get one for around 18,500. Actually i just called another dealership, and they had just sold one with ~40,000 miles on it for $17,400 out the door. Unfortunately for me these cars hold value pretty well generally.

Car Info: always changing...
I got mine in December 2001 with 2900 miles on it for $20500.
Now it has ~22K on it and runs great. In fact, I think it's starting to feel better than it did when I first got it.
I'd sell it to get a wagon though...

I'm disappointed with my '03 sedan, just got 3300 miles, barely past the fist oil change, actually thinking about selling. It groans going over speed bump and lately on turns, dealer can't figure and subaru is "working on it". pay off is 19700. Dropped 5k on down. anybody intererested

i felt the same way the first week or so I had mine... I was going to hold off and buy an RX-8, but decided to get the WRX.
Now there is no going back.
IF you are having issues like you mentioned, it is prolly just your car, Because mine doesn't do that..
When throwing the car into a hard corner at speeds over 40 i used to hear a noise, but that was my old aftermarket wheels rubbing due to an incorrect offset...
