Just another long time subie fan (on my 3rd subie) pissed off about recent events. This is a rant so grammar ****'s chill out!! Anyway heres my list of things I dislike/disagree with,

1) 2010 legacy gt has a new turbo location for faster spool, sounds like a good thing, it's not this pretty much kills currant after market applications.

2)2010 legacy gt has a new cheaper crappy 6 speed instead of the sti 6 speed the old spec b has.

3)With some tweaks the new models look decent but are a little to much like toyota's and mazda's it's working as far as drawing in new subie customers but leaving long time subie fans with nothing to move up to.I wonder if evo fans are as upset and dissapointed as us about the lancer sport back haha

4)Surge in new subie owners who don't wave,arn't into tuning/modding,and who are overall nubish.

5)new forester and outback look like ****!!

6) RWD colaboration with toyota is retarded!!! Im going to miss the slogan "all wheel drive standard on all models" Drift is cool but people are still going to be buying old 240's, rx7's etc cheap for drifting not 25k + cars. Granted rwd fans arnt only into drifting but it's just not a market/trend I wanted subaru to get into..

7) No Exiga (AWD Turbo Subaru minivan) in the US instead we have the slow boring tribeca.

8) Still no production hybrid/alternate fuel vehicles. With all the e85 conversion you think subaru would research this.IF they wanted to boost sales they should have made hybrid options on certain models instead of making them boring and not as easy to mod.

9) dealer service prices are way up (could be just my local dealer) they wanted $850 for 60k service!! Thats crack prices!!

1) You're making complaints about improvements? The aftermarket parts will come eventually.
3) IMHO the Legacy looks pretty nice. its not so much we look more like toyota and mazda. all of the manufacturers' sedans are starting to look alike. the old legacy use to look like a camry. i'd rather have the legacy have similarities with a Lexus GS than a Toyota Camry.
4) really? they dont have to wave if they don't want to.
5) actually, i think they look pretty good. and the increase in sales shows that most people like it too.
6) I believe the Subaru version will retain the AWD system. I dont know about you, but Subaru needs to diversify its line up. The Impreza is the only real "sports car" available. Sorry to Leggy and Fozzie owners :X
7) AWD Turbo Minivan. Now you're just not making any sense.
8) Subaru is coming out with Turbo Diesel options. A hybrid Subaru is in the making already.
9) Which stealership doesn't rob you?

It's okay it's all going to be better.

 

1)Still wish it was an sti 6 speed, by the time the aftermarket comes around they will have changed the setup again.

3)I don't want it to look like "all the other manufacturer sedans" I want it to look like a subaru.

4)I still miss the motorcycle style props that subie owners would give to each other. I guess the more the new models look like every other car the less people will care abut being unique.

6) I've heard it was going to be RWD to cash in on the trendy drift market, I dissagree with you about the impreza being the only real sports car. JDM Sti versions of leggy and foresters are beast!! With are usually only a half second to 1 second difference in lap times with the impreza STI.

7)It's called the Exiga and it's a japanese wagon minivan thing with the impreza turbo and transmission setup way cooler than a tribeca.

8)I know but I still want flex fuel and hybrid versions of current models.
