Uncomfortable Seats in Forester

Last month I purchased a 2003 Forester XS. I love the car. BUT, I cannot get comfortable in the seat while driving. I have tried every possible adjustment on the seat including the lumbar support, height, seatback angle and distance from the steering wheel. No matter what I do, my bak is hurting me after 30-45 minutes of driving. I am 6'2" and weigh 170 pounds. I do not have this problem with my other vehicles. Any body have any suggestions??

I'd check out upgrading your seats. It can be done without needing to change sliders or belts, so the cost can be fairly reasonable. My Impreza seats are awful, too.

Might want to take a look at wooden bead seat covers.

I originally got one at a friend's suggestion because the dark interior of my WRX got rather hot and my back would sweat on the seat, but those things are damn comfortable!

For $9.99 at your local Shucks you can't go wrong.
