to each their own. but i like the subtle whoosh from our bpv compared to that obnoxious bov whistle sound. some sound good but i've had ricer evo friends with nasty sounding bov. but like i said everyones got their own opinions.

I run a 50/50 hybrid TurboXS and love the sound of it. Mine makes more if a whoosh sound opposed to a high pitched whistle. Haven't experienced and problems other than running a little rich in between shifts, but a future tune will take care of that.
I will tell you now, that no other driver on the road actually cares.
You are experiencing it, just not noticing. Same with the slower spool up after letting off the throttle. Unless you're switching to speed density, then there is no way to tune for it.
Have your tuner double check for leaks before your next tune. TurboXS valves are heavily known for leaking even when adjusted properly.

Yeah there are other ways to get the cool woosh. Just change out to a short ramintke like the SPT especially if you are not planning to tune.
There are umpteen threads about aftermarket BOV I suggest a little research. Your BOV is fine, and your car is tuned for it.
Save your money and get somthing that will actually gve you some performance gains. Cause your ca can sound ool as hell bt if its slow like a thick turd rolling on sandpaper on a cold day it makes no difference.
But SAY La VIS I guess

LOL I know when I first came into my WRX from a honda, and b4 I found the boards the first thing I did was throw on a K&N Typhoon intake and my car ran like poop.
I got a cobb AP and went stage 2 and it still ran like poop hitting boost cut ETC.....I am now back to all stock intake, and BOV with a tune and couldnt be happier.
Im at 205hp and 256ft lbs.
Nobody likes the tuna here
