I'll go try and dig up the interview where Lapworth said that the hoodscoop is merely a marketing tool...

those guys on Tuner Trans are a bunch of posers! I do like the idea of a sleeper STI but I was hoping they would address the cars real short comings. They are clueless and went off in a pointless direction. They changed the brake rotors! What for? I would do something about the slow steering and understeer. Like faster rack, or at least Whiteline rack bushings. anyway those guys need to get off the air. I will E-mail them again and tell them how much they suck.

A bigger turbo will give you even more lag, but when it hits, it'll be harder. Turbo Audi's use two little turbo's for a reason, almost instantaneous power, very little lag. 300Z's use dual turbo's for a reason, the little turbo spools up the big one faster, less lag. People who want an a$$load of power, get big-a$$ turbo's, and just deal with the lag. Small turbo, small power, small lag. Big turbo, big power, big lag.

I thought the car was great I'm in my 40's I had a WRX (prodrive areo package)then I traded it in for the Sti. The performance is great but but the look is more than I need (Bling) They could have transformed my car in the same way. I was told that the wing wt. is 40 lbs. I just don't want to slow the car down at all. with all that work reflash intake the 0-60 was only .1 quicker, salom spd gain 2mph not bad I would have like to see the 1320 times.
