TURBO HEAT SHIELD Differences

About to purchase a turbo heat shield
between cusco and cobb/grimmspeed

I see that the cusco has a different shape compared to the cobb or grimmspeed.

Does the cobb cover more area?

I know that they pretty much work the same, but the shape of them seems like one would cover more than the other..

can someone please help em confirm the differences?

Please stay on topic and to the question asked.

I hear people usually going with the PNP turbo blanket. Also, I think there are studies that show that a modified stock heatshield keeps the heat from dissipating to the intercooler better than the after market ones.

I'm running a modified stock that I cut with tin snipes.

I thread jacked you on nasioc... lol, my bad! I had a cut stocker on my car which fit over the vf52 and 4" txs bellmouth fine. I got a perrin and coated it with a can of hi temp black ceramic stuff I bought from oreillys. I think it ran better then the oem the little time I had it on my stock turbo. I recently went dom 1.5xtr with 10cm hit side and put a ptp lava blanket.over it as well as the perrin heat shield. I have a fms tmic and read avg between 83-101 while driving 25+ . live inn hawaii pretty much 80's 24/7, high 60's to low 70's lately, in the morning. With the ptp blanket the perrin touches the heatshield when mounted. I talked to art at grimmspeed to see if the gs one was a little larger, I don't want the heatshield to sit directly on blanket. Art told me I would probably get the same result with grimmspeed. Also stated it would not make much of a difference if i ran w just the blanket and in his opinion, to not risk buying his grimmspeed one... as far as cusco, I've never tried theirs. I am going to try and take off the perrin this weekend and see if there is a difference.
