Trunk monkey commercial in Superbowl
I saw a commercial during the superbowl,
It had a guy being harrassed while stopped at a light by some road raged guy who's out of his pick-up and yellin at the guys window, so the guy inside the car he hits a button marked "trunk Monkey" and a chimp climbs out of the back with a tire iron and clubs the aggressive guy on the head. Pretty funny.
Anyone else seen this?

Ok I figured out it was a local commercial for an Auto group here in the Portland area, so it would have only been seen by folks in the Portland /Vancouver area. I need to get a copy of this damn comercial, it feels like a hallucination, but my wife saw it too.

I called the company that the ad was for, and they will get back to me on when it will be onthe air again or whether they can send me a copy, I told them that hundreds of people around the country want to see it.

Ok, I called KATU the local ABC affiliate and it will be on Tuesday morning between 6-7 am during the morning news show.
So anybody in the PDX area be sure to tune in!

I've contacted Suburban and they're getting me in contact with the ad agency since I'm the one who came up with the Trunkmonkey concept three years ago. I cited www.trunkmonkey.com as prior art and simply asked for a copy of the ad. Once the ad agency gets in contact with me and ships me a copy of the ad I'll capture it!

PORTLAND - If you've ever been the victim of road rage on Portland's freeways you might be able to relate to a new commercial being shot in Portland.
"Jonah" a monkey actor takes the stage in a trunk of a car. In the scenes being shot in Portland he is otherwise known as the trunk monkey.
In the commercial, when the driver of the car is victimized by 'road rage' the monkey pops the trunk and hops out and starts shaking a crowbar at the offending driver.
The suburban auto group is producing the commercial, which obviously is intended to be a tongue-in-check representation of road rage.
