Too many miles?

Ive owned my 05WRX now for alittle more than 3 weeks, it already has over 1000miles, is that normal? People say thats a lot of miles, but what are your guys opinions about milage?

Edit: I bought it with 17miles on the odometer.

IMO, that's not too bad. You're enjoying your car, right?

My car has about 17K miles. For an '03 that's sort of low (bought in June of 2003), but I just don't do a lot of driving. But I do enjoy it when driving!
