thumping when turning at low speeds?

Well the car apparently had this problem with the owner i bought it from, i asked him about it and he told me that he took it to several mechanics who told him it had to do with the air in the tires expanding as they heated up. But after finding out my up pipe didnt have a gasket i'm a bit skeptic on the information i got from him...
Here's the original post by him:

recently i've noticed this noise when parking my car from the left and right or just really low speed sharp turns. the feeling is best describe as imagine that there are lumps on your tires and when you start turning it goes... lump.....the lump. (good description huh?) but comoletely goes away when driving straight.

oh and this only happens when after driving my car for like a half hour or more. i check the tire pressures and they are 32 in the front 29 in the back. my tires are pirelli pzero nero's on stock wheels. everything on the car is stock except for hawk brake pads. and the car is an 02 wrx.

please help.

oh and i took a look underneath the car and everything looks good. no grease anywhere, cv boots are good, nothing disconnected. *** is going on
