Thinking of trying this on my 99' Legagy Outback

I'm skeptical. Inexpensive gadgets similar to these are sold on e-Bay all the time. Take note that:

1) The list a PO Box address, not a physical address.

2) Their Lifetime Warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials, not advertised performance. What I would look for is at least a 30-day money-back guarantee if the device does not perform as advertised.

3) The e-mail testimonials on their site are claimed to be unaltered but none contain the sender's e-mail address. I understand privacy concerns but then how are these posts considered unaltered?

I've always been curious for someone to try one of these things out. I'm very skeptical but am not going to stop you from trying it just be prepared that you may be throwing away the 40 bucks. If you do do it, let us know how it turns out.
