Hey,
I recently decided that I was tired of not having enough power in my '97 318i, and that I want more power... So when looking around I think the only other cars that just straight out rock (imo) are Subbies. But I was wondering if anyone could give any advice on whether or not to:
1. Sell my bimmer to buy a subbie.
2. To wait for the sti (although if I am going to sell I would rather do it sooner then later).
3. If I buy should I buy the short shifter, power gauges and some of the other extras from the dealer, or just wait and buy after the car (I think this is cheaper, but I am not sure).

Anything anyone can tell me about purchasing a WRX, or why I should I would appreciate it, thanx!

 

if you have the money i would wait for the STI.... everyone thinks the STI is going to be 32K - 33K? i think it's going to be higher than that, with all the dealer mark ups and such. i'm sure i'm wrong though.

don't buy the stuff from the dealer. if you want stuff from the dealer, wait till you get the car then buy the stuff. there are a lot of places that sell the same stuff as the dealer, but a lot cheaper. installing is simple and basic, so don't waste your money. i got the gauge pack for 800 i think it was... a week later i found out i could get it for like 600 or something like that. waste of money! and the body kit.. etc.. etc.. so just buy the car bone stock and get everything you want later.

i got the painted side skirt, tinted windows, gauge pack, and upgraded stereo and alarm for 23,500. heheh somehow i got a good price on it =). say that you're going to buy 2!!
