Thinking of buying a WRX
I'm currently in a 99 Honda prelude SH. I like it but to be honest if I don't drive it like I stole it then it doesn't have any *****. I really like the wrx's. Been concerned w/ price first off, second would be longevity. I'd like to find a used one. Can anyone tell me if there are any reliablility issues with them and what to look for and cost of a used one?

I'm not sure what your price range is but depending on whether you want the re-styled WRX or the older bugeyes, you might get be able to get a new 2002 or 2003 for around $20k. I seem to recall people posting that they've found some for very low prices. A lot of people like the Honda/Toyoto esk styling of the 2004 so I'm guessing that there will be a lot of bugeyes on the market.
The 04 also comes with a few more options than the 02/03's. As far as reliability, I think Subaru ranked as high as Toyota in reliability. Of course, the WRX has only been around for a few years but there was the Turbo Legacy a few years back and their track record was pretty good.
