ok im trying to replace my broken Striker on the car and i cant seem to get the damn screw out! its so friggin tight! any suggetion to getting the screw out? I have no Air or powertools aval. for those who dont know what type of screw its a "+" shaped.

There is a type of tool that you put a screwdriver bit in and hit it w/ a hammer The impact forces the bit into the screw and turns at the same time. That's what you need. I have one it works well for stuff like that:

thanks peaty thats what a local mechanic told me too.

but damn only 10 bucks! i brought a craftman impact tool for 26 Bucks at sears! im goona try get a refund after i get the screw out
