Super 2nr TV - new episodes this weekend - feedback wanted (again)
new episodes of Super 2NR TV this weekend, 12:30pm saturday, 12 noon on Sunday, TNN. Double check your local listings, if you're on satilite it might be on a few hours earlier / later.
Saturday:
Bucky lasek / Gumball 3000
inside on KW suspension and coilovers, straight from germany
autobahn and porsche GT2 footage

You'll also notice a few changes. Or, if they're really good, you WON'T notice them. We actually do take your suggestions, so feel free to give us any and all feedback. I personally think these are 2 of the best shows we've had so far, but I want to know what you guys think!

Well, thanks for a total disappointment. What genius came up with the idea off sending a camera crew to SUBARU Daze, only to have the only close-up, in-depth looks at the cars and owners be a TOYOTA and a CIVIC? It's SUBARU Daze, for goodness sake. If I want a close-up look at a Civic, I'll go down to the mall parking lot, I don't need to take a camera crew to Subaru daze to do it either. If I want to here thoughts of a Civic owner, I'll call my niece. You didn't take time in your trip to Germany to toodle around the autobahn in a Corolla.... Why, BECAUSE THAT WOULD MAKE NO SENSE!!! Yet you guys decided that was the way to go with the Subaru Daze coverage.
What a slap in that face.

Normally, Super2nr TV is a pretty good show, that left me with a really bad taste in my mouth.

AND ILL BE HONEST I ONLY WENT OUT OF MY WAY TO WATCH THE 1ST COUPLE EPISODES
DOES IT STILL LOOK LIKE ITS BEEN EDITED IN THE EARLY 90'S?
WITH THE OFF COLOR BACKGROUNDS(PINK OR LIGHT GREEN) WITHE SQUIGLY LINES
WHILE THE MAIN SHOT IS HALF TILTED TO ONE SIDE AND SHRUNKEN
THAT WAS MORE THAN A LITTLE INSUTING TO MAKE ME GO OUT OF MY WAY AGAIN

the show has always sucked. they talk about a car for one second and dont even talk about the internals of the engine, HP, what it took to put it together or anything that a real car inthusist would want to pay 2 seconds attention to. all they say is that it has "nos"and stickers. its for F&F wannabes.

watch the show again and tell me if you like it better than before. I did tell you that it DID change, but i want you to see how MUCH it has changed.
In the 18 episodes that super 2nr has had, they've evolved a hell of a lot. Watch it and see what you think.
I'll be the first to admit that the show sucked at first. But from the feedback of numerous people, it's become an extremely enjoyable show. It's not quite to the level of motor trend or autoweek (although one of the producers and some of the camera people work on motor trend as well), but it's getting there.

i wanted to know how you were affiliated with the show
and yeah maybe ill set my vcr top watch it (im usaully at work or sleeping when its on)
ps why dont they show the power block at night instead of 2 days in a row at almost the same time??

even with events you/they try and pack too much stuff into 30 min. if your going to show an event dont overload us with a bunch of cars you only talk about for 2 seconds. at least go into a little but of detail with half the cars you normaly would. and like they were saying about subaru daze. you go to a car specific car show and only talk about hondas, toyotas, and cars that have nothing to do with the event.

I think this might be the same slappy that gets ripped on importmix.com.
Anyhow with the exception of like 2 shows it sucks,I was really hoping for a good import show along the lines of motortrend,But with some installs and tech.
Instead we get a whole lotta of talk about b.s.
Another thing iam sure youve gotten a few renegade videos by now. Show the fricken things and maybe you'll get more.
Lastly would it kill ya to actually do 0-60/1/4 mi test on these cars you talk about. Sure it has a crap load of stuff done to it ,but how does it perform,handling would be nice to but at least some acceleration tests.
It seems like every import mag/show talk about how fast the car should be but never test the things. It drives me nuts.
On a side note i did catch Nopi tunervision or something like that,it was on before supertuner. That show was alot better they actually show race footage and the times, some show cars, talk with manufacturers/racers. Not the best but better.
Just copy motortrend, give it some import flair,Maybe a bikini contest,some APC products to keep the ricers watching.Thats it the recipe for a great show.
