I bet a guy with no brakes thinks that WRX owners are getting pissed too.

People driving a car like the STi should not be *****ing
about the cost of replacement items like that. You get
what you pay for.

Want cheap brake pads? By Geo Metro. ha ha.

Thats the same kind of thinking I encountered when I owned a Porsche. People (especially the dealership types) apparently thought that because I drove a Porshce I was made of money and wouldn't care, or that I had no common sense and wouldn't know I was being robbed.

Just because the part had a Porsche logo on it, the dealership tried to charge me 10 times what it was worth. So, I found an aftermarket parts supplier catalog, got the same bits for a lot less and the dealership got nothin'.

If the Subaru dealers think Sti owners are dumb enough to pay 380 dollars for brake pads, then I'd do the same thing again and get the aftermarket pads.

My willingness to buy a car like an Sti doesn't justify price gouging on anybody's part.
