lol, I honestly don't think Ferrari owners care. A typical Ferrari owner could most likely buy 3 or 4 STi's with change to spare. Most Ferrari owners that I know dont go around and race on the street or care if another car can beat them.

It is great to have a bit of a dust off with something that takes extra $$$$ to get on the road. Unfortunately, the good roads near me are WELL patrolled, and since I have already had some overspeeds (not in my WRX) I am wary of playing too seriously. However, that said, I did have a fun contretemps with a beemer (325i as I remember), and we did have some fun. I'd call it a draw, as I dropped out while ahead. I got him on the high end but he had me by a bit from scratch. Last time I looked, that beemer was lots $$$ more than my WRX (not an STI).

The best thing about that thread is how the only justification they have is that their cars cost more money and that our's are cheap in comparison................no kidding!

At least they know what's up

Ferrari guys are awesome the couple I've talked to were really nice. Although some of them drive them just to say I have a Ferrari, many of them really are into them because of their awe inspiring history and racing legacey. They love and charish their cars just like many of us but they also love to have fun.

With a Ferrari, its not all about going fast. Its the mystique, the style, the sounds. I dont know about you, but i think a Ferrari engine is the absolute best sounding engine on earth. A Ferrari makes a guy feel like a king when he is driving it. They aren't too common out here in Pennsylvania, so when I see one I am always envious. Sure, you cant drive one every day. Who cares. Its a FERRARI. And thats what they are all about.

im kinda partial to straight sixes. those sound nice. theres a couple of ferraris in my garage where i live. i just looked at this one kids blue 360 and the interrior is awfull. and remember ferraris didnt even come with radios until 97. i love ferraris as much as the next guy and a couple of my friends have em. but if one pulls next to me and wants a go you bet im gonna drop the hammer on him.

^^word. my dad had a 360 spyder last year, but sold it, and that enigne sounded like absolute sex on wheels. and the whole ferrari not meant to race on street is soooo true, they are show cars, but have lots of oomph.

i've worked on Ferrari's and plenty of other cars...Let me say that the sti is just amazing...my friend has one and i have a 944 turbo(as you can see from my name) and that thing pulls on me like no other car has..its good to see people admit something about other cars rather then putting them down,,, to own a ferrari i guesss its more then just speed cause i actually live right next to a dealership on long island..as for the owners that i met i didnt like them AT ALL>...i love the sound of them but they are just not for me.. My dream car is a gt2 twin turbo Porsche..thats a car to love its looks and on the track..I would be honored to be beat by one of those...
