sti front strut bar and a k&n air filter, $75 for both - good deal?

I Need A Quick Answer To This Question
hey, the salesman at the subaru dealership keeps in touch with his customers for the most part and i tries to find parts for people. anyways he offered me an sti front strut bar and a k&n air filter. $75 for both. i was thinking about getting these but havent researched the prices, is this a good deal or no?

not to bad. the air filter is about 30 and you can get the STi "replica" for around 30-50 on ebay. check ebay for the strut bar and any auto store for the air filter.

I'd be nervous about getting too many parts from people at the dealership. Subaru is sneaky about catching people modding their cars and then denying them warranty work. However, those two parts are nothing major and shouldnt void the warranty.
Wanna know how low the scum suckers go? If you come in for service work, if the regional service manager is there he'll come up to you like hes another suby enthusiast and ask you what youve done, what 1/4 mile times you run, yada yada yada, and then he'll go to the service counter and tell them not to do warranty work on your car

damn thats crazy, normally i probably wouldnt do any mods with the dealership people knowing but its the dealership in southern oregon and im moving back to the bay area in like 2 weeks. he also suggested the " snorkel delete." is anyone familiar with that?

I believe what hes talking about is part of the intake. Its part thats in the fender and helps silence the intake noise. By removing it, and replacing it with a short pipe you can hear the turbo spool more
I may be confused though, so I'll let someone else confirm or explain it better
