Steering

I was thinking about this I was whipping around in a parkinglot messing around.. Is there such a steering mod where as I would only have to turn the wheel 1 full rotation to steer as far as i can in one direction? i think its currently like 2 rotations on the wheel.
What kinda impact would this have on everyday driving? I think it make it alot harder to just cruise down the highway since you prolly won't be able to take your hands of the wheel unles syou want to crash
I also bet its not legal for some reason but it would make cornering in hard corner and sliding a hell of alot easier i would think.. never drove a race car but just taking a guess here.. is there such a mod?

actually, a new steering rack isn't that pricey -- you can get one for about the same or less than you'd spend on a turbo back. http://www.fourstarmotorsports.com is in canada, and has STi racks that are 2.25 turns lock to lock for $999 Canadian. it's not single turn, but it's completely legal. revlabs makes a rack that's even quicker, but it's a lot more expensive.

it will make the car very twitchy, if you go canyon running and are a very experienced driver, and toss the car around alot, it is probably well worth it. just be careful, i would have way tooo much fun with my car if i had a shorter steering rack.

It'd be a pain in real life I'd think, spinning out all the time...
