Starting problems
I have a 95 Legacy that has begun to have starting problems. I now have to pump the gas pedal and even then, I usually have to stop the cranking and it will usually start on the second attempt. The car runs fine after it starts. I have replaced plugs and fuel filter. I've jump started the car with another battery but had the same results. The problem seemed to appear almost overnight. Don't know where to look next - voltage to fuel pump, ignition coil, cam/crank sensor?? Any suggestions?

Although it was a completely different car, I had the same problem in my old Jeep Cherokee. I changed everything from plugs to distributor cap and didn't think to check the battery. Like awns says, it's prob the battery. Mine battery was completely drained when I checked it. I got my money on the battery...
